Carol Farmer
Hi! My Name is Carol Farmer. I was born June 3, 1959, the eighth of 10 children raised on a working farm in Pine City, New York. My love for animals started on the farm and has continued throughout my life owning horses and dogs. I started working with animals at a young age and participated in 4H (4-H Dog Project provides youth a fun and hands-on learning experience that teaches proper care for dogs). I attended college on a sports scholarship and received a BBA degree in accounting and finance. After graduating I got my first Springer, Bandit a black and white female. She was an amazing frisbee dog. She was my best friend and traveled with me throughout the United States. Throughout my travels with Bandit, I developed the inspiration behind Gulf Coast Springers and my love for the English Springer Spaniel breed.
After a successful career in accounting/administration and as chief financial officer in several industries, I made the decision and commitment to establish Gulf Coast English Springer Spaniels as a full-time endeavor. I have accumulated over 41 years’ experience with English Springer Spaniels and a true love and passion for breeding them.
Every single puppy is a part of my life and my family, and I genuinely care about each one of them and to help them find that special home that they so deserve.
I have truly enjoyed every minute of this experience, including the hard work and sleepless nights. I have met the best people through my Springers!
